While redesigning my portfolio site, I think I was subliminally influenced by Maje Paris’s Fall collection!
I love – love the classic french color palette and those coats with the skinny lapels.. it’s just what I want in a jacket this season!
via Maje’s Facebook – like them and see the rest of the collection – it was hard just picking six!

recently i’ve become obsessed with infusing fashion into my design work – particularly for my personal branding and porfolio page… so i’m loving these royal blues – bandanas, paisley print, leopards, knits, and pastel ombres. i’m excited to share what i’m working on -but for now – here are my sourcesss

Carven you are exactly what i want to wear this spring.. like.. how did you get in my head and make everything i love?! girlish charm – with just enough edge to not look like you tried too hard. and what about those shoes with the enormo bows!? so pretty, and weird, and amazing! get in my closet now!! also – is everyone else getting a huge alexa chung reference here – the model even looks like her – not that i’m complaining at all – just sayin.
uhhhh where did i hear about carven — unclear – but i did see via newsletter that barney’s is hosting a few trunk shows for the label – of course – hats off to barneys for always having the best of the best.

overall, i actually really like this look. plus, i think it is an easy look for the everyday woman to re-create. you just need a little shrunken sweater or top or jacket or cardigan (really insert your shrunken top here) and then add a pair of slim, colored trousers. sienna’s effortlessly pulled back hair, help pull this look together. i don’t love the shoes that match the sweater that match the bag, however. if the shoes were black strappy somethings, and the bag had just a hint of dark color somewhere – it could have been ‘so good’ status.

These beaded pocket purses by JF & Son may be old news… but that doesn’t discount how much I love them. So fun, special, and definitely something I haven’t seen before. I really love how wacky the first bag in the first image is with the textural black and red sequin-esq thing going on, everything about the 2nd image… (which i think is the back of the third image), and in the forth image… do you think it is hand painted, or was is designed to look like that… either way it is genius and beautiful. I am actually planning a quilt in the color scheme of the second image, (my favorite color scheme of the moment) so that was inspiring and gets me excited to start working on that project!
