so remember like 5 seconds ago i was talking about that celine bag??
as promised – here is a more detailed ‘study’ of the bag via elin king and after drk oh and a few celine adverts for good measure.
isn’t this bag just beautiful!?
i love how organic and raw it looks – yet still incredibly chic and sophisticated.
one thing in particular i love is that i think the bag is unlined – like the vintage coach, and dooney and burke bags which are beautifully made – last forever – and still smell like leather – my favorite bag smell.
what do you think – are you convinced – do you love this bag??
i’ve seen this celine bag (although usually in black) on everyone lately – it is beautiful don’t you think? i guess it’s a little hard to tell from here if you’re not a freak like me and notice these little things – i’ll post more photos … then you’ll get it.
oh – yeah – i also love the color scheme this photo creates – oranges, greens, blacks and gray – it’s just the perfect mix – edgy pop….
i’m not sure if all these rooms belong in the same home – but it seems like if they don’t – they could. i really love all that natural light, how the plants make everything feel cozy, and how high, modern pieces are mixed perfectly with items that look like they could have come from a curb alert.
i love all the cool toys for the kids to play with – that little sheep – the teepee – - wouldn’t it be fun to grow up here?!
first – love the cinematography – and the music – it just sets the tone.. you know something special is ahead.
second – what a beautiful event – put on by you + me styling i love the color scheme – how all the furniture is is white – allowing all the beautiful food, drinks, art, and props shine. speaking of art – those water colors done by Erin Fagerland – so amazingly perfect – i don’t know if i would want my guests to take them home – i think i’d want to live happily ever after with them forever – but seriously, what a perfect gift. also – i love that another gift they gave their guests were black and white pencils – the perfect touch. Anyway
don’t take it from me – just see for yourself!!

remember a few years ago – how colored denim was like huge?! could it be making another comeback… i think i’d be okay with it… depending on how you wear it. the worst thing about the colored demin thing was that people used it as an excuse to wear bright bright bright colors for shock value – like hey i’m wearing bright green pants and a neon yellow top because i don’t give a ….. the difference between that and these looks – is that they ground the pink with pretty neutrals .. chambray, white, navy, taupe – none of that screems – it just goessssssssss… ughh i did just say that – a little lame…. ohswellsbells.

psst it’s isabel marant
i know this is old news – but i love this craig lawrence dress daisy is wearing to the british academy television awards.
love this buddy holly cover.
and guess what! this is from dkny – you heard right. not donna karan collection. – DKNY – that means i may actually be able to buy this!
wouldn’t this look soooo good on someone with uber pale skin and uber blonde hair aka meeemememmememe (minus the uber blonde hair - but that’s okay maybe i’ll change back to blondie when it is time to wear this coat)
is it sad to admit that i was in a bad mood until i realized this was dkny and i could possible afford this jacket!! now we just have to hope that a smart retailer picks it up.
i love this whimsical – yet simpleness of wayne pate’s screen prints. i am really loving the detail on the pants in contemplating hockney – how the outline of his legs are the same color as the background. i’ve been trying to incorporate more of this – uhh how do you describe this – in my graphic design – but i’m not good enough at all the tools for it to be easy – it seems like it should be – but alas – frustrated sally – i just need to keep practicing… i digress.
check out wayne pate’s work here. his screen prints are pretty large – and the prices are really great – perfect for a kids room – or to add a bit of playfulness to an ‘adult’ room.
two of my favorites
don’t the purplish-blue shadows of the blinds look so pretty! it’s such a random detail to notice – but i think it is what make this picture so interesting. it perfectly complements bri’s hair & lips – it even makes that top pop ( ) and that gold scarf shimmer just a little bit more!!
