k and i looked at this picture in awe yesterday – like literally 5 minutes of ahhhhh so good – and should we make curtains like that – and lets try to do that. those colors – so good – i am always inspired by the sophisticated yet super fun color palettes the duo imagines up. by the way – this is from confetti system – see the picture larger here (you have to scroll for like a second to get there) – you’ll be sooo glad you did.
fur here, fur there, fur everywhere! i think – i think – i think this is my favorite collection from paris. i mean sure, there is a lot to argue, there isn’t alot new going on here – but the knits – mixed with fur on the arms or collar – mixed with sheer dresses – everything is just what i want to wear – effortless perfection.
yeeps! isabel marant, the epitome of cool, french bohemian dressing. her knits are are amazing, no? i mean that knit dress in the second photo – it could go a little shortie short, but because it is a knit, in masculine colors, and long sleeve – it works. and then she went there – she did 3 or 4 jackets with the long thin lapel i’m dying to get a piece of. seriously – this is on my list of must owns this year.
uber chic celine – clothes for a a confident woman who knows what she wants and how to dress. now, i don’t see my self (right now) if in a white turtleneck, tailored trousers, and overcoat – but I can’t help but be mesmerized by how nice everything looks. those clean lines scream hours of rigidly editing yourself – stepping back and saying – do we really need this? or should we move that seam 2mm to the right? in my personal work i strive for that perfection – deciding on a certain style and sticking to it no matter what is the hardest to achieve. i think even just the process of getting yourself to the point where you can say – yes i love that – but no, it doesn’t work for this – means you’ve grown so much. i’m not there yet – but if i keep at it …. right, right, right?
